“The health care sector has spent $263 million this year lobbying Congress for changes to reform plans”
Health Care is a perfect example of our flawed government system. A system where it is supposed to be “about the people and for the people” yet in reality it is a system run by corporations and lobbyists.
I’ve started to come to the conclusion that if you say something to enough people, for a long enough period of time people will start to believe it. All this negative propaganda to trying to insure everyone is a perfect example. It is just so sad. The lobbyists won in the 1990’s vs the Clinton administration when they wanted health care and it looks like if they spend enough money they will win again.
I find it funny that the health care system has 263 million dollars to just throw around and spend telling congressman what they want. YAY for “for profit” corporations based on people’s health.
