Waiting in line
Well I uploaded my video on vimeo and it has told me that it will take about 175 minutes to process. I will be heading to get some sleep and post it on tumblr tomorrow morning. I haven’t seen anyone elses video up there yet so I guess we are all stuck in in the same boat. We must have all clicked upload around the same time :)

A quote that guided my work
Well interestingly enough while I was looking through my assignment notepad last week I noticed that every week has its own quote to inspire you. It just so happened that I came across a quote from Erin Majors that read “A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle,” and felt this would be a perfect to base my movie around. I find many times when people find out that I am going to...

question about still image movement
Okay I am having some difficulty with a still image in final cut pro. What I want to do is make the camera zoom into the still image in final cut but I have no idea on how to go about doing that. If anyone has used imovie with this then you know what I’m talking about. It gives a little movement to a still image. Well if anyone knows for final cut and can tell me that would be cool....

Potential Project Idea
After watching some of these bloopers on news channels I got a pretty fun idea. A video we could do for this class could be a fake news report. We could allow it to be of anything or anyone. All we have to do is pretend to be news reporters reporting the news. I mean we could have funny things happening in the background or just have a funny story. I don’t know but it would be pretty fun to...

In my Data Collections class I wanted to know more about physics applied to programming. This is a physics library that you can apply to processing. Pretty neat.

A little philosophy
So I have been studying for my Modern Western philosophy course for a test tomorrow and naturally I decided to do the assigned readings tonight. We had to read Descartes Discourse and his first two meditations and I found myself realizing that life and the way people thought back in the 1600’s is almost the exact same way people think now. The only difference nowadays is we have ipods and...

lynda.com Maya Character Skeletons
Okay guys I checked out the entire section of making a skeleton in Maya. It was pretty thorough in telling me the exact place I want to place the joints. I have been fascinated by what you can do with Maya and wanted to go more in depth with making characters so that is why I checked this out. He started off showing how to make the legs and feet. The feet were a little different because you have...

Lynda.com
Okay I want to create a website for my Save Our Dinosaurs campaign and I was taking a look at making databases on Lynda.com in dreamweaver. I have made my own websites before but when it comes to making dynamic sites I have never really taken the time to figure out how to do it. Anyways I was looking at creating a database in MySQL using a server called MAMP. It seems to be freeware at...
